After doing a justice league picture, I felt the need to do an Avengers pic. I have always like the Marvel universe better than the DC one anyway.

Wow, has it really been over a month since i last posted something here? Been posting so much to my deviantart account that I forgot to upload here as well. This originally was a quick sketch i did while commuting(no, I wasn't the one driving). I liked it so much that I decided to ink it in and color it.

Indiana Jones

Clone Wars

In honor of the upcomming movie, I had to do some fan art. This is gonna be one awesome film. I'm glad Lucas kept the cartoony look of the shorts that were produced earlier but added the Starwars look we have all come to love. Enjoy

I Am Iron Man

If you havn't seen the new movie.....GO!!!! Best superhero movie in a long time, maybe ever. After seeing it I had to do some fan art. Hope you all enjoy.

2nd time better

So my wife kindly pointed out to me that in my original drawing the snow didn't look that real. So I took another look at it and had to agree. Decided to post the fixed up version, and I am happy to say it does look much better

Dual at Dusk

I always thought this pic would be much more dramatic if it were at dusk rather than at night. For a while i couldn't get the colors of the sabers to come out right. They kept picking up the colors of the background. Then i realized that i had the filter on screen rather than normal. DOH!!!! anyway all is fixed. Enjoy

A City of Heros

I have been playing CoH for 4 years now and love it. Best MMORPG out there I think. I decided I had to draw one of my characters along with a couple others from the Super Group i'm in. This was my very first digital coloring attempt ever. ( I have come along way since i did this) Background is a screen shot from the game.

I'm not a big anime fan, but my wife loves it. She asked me to draw her a pic of Naruto, so here it is.

Previously on Battlestar Galactica

The best show on TV right now is BSG. I decided that I needed to add some BSG goodness to my blog. I did this piece 2 different ways. One in full color and then this Black and white with a hint of color version. I think this version makes the Cylon look more menacing. I took insperation for Starbucks look from Tom Hodges as I personally have a hard time drawing the female face. On the left is Helo and the right is Apollo. Hope you all enjoy.

Spidey Sense Tingling

Well I just finished the colors on this pic and decided i couldn't wait till tomorrow to post it. The sketch itself took me a day and 1/2 to draw. (making sure the perspective is correct drives me nuts) At first I was going to make this a sunny daytime shot, but after carefull consideration I realized that nighttime with rain was much more dramatic. Enjoy

So i felt like throwing a little Gandalf your way today. Got lazy with the backgroud on this and threw some generic flame back there. I should really look into doing a better background on this one some time in the future. Oh well, hope you all enjoy.

A Long time Ago.....

A while back, my brother and I got this wild idea that we would like to try to create a Star Wars Comic Book. My Brother roughed out a story and I did a few prelim drawings. This is one of the few that I think captured the look we were going for. While the project has been put on hold,(brother is in college and has no time to finish story) I still doodle a bit with the characters we came up with.

1st Post

Welcome to my blog. I hope to be adding new art here every day......well not every day as i tend to get a little lazy. I will try to comment a little on each piece i add as to how i designed it and such. This piece was hand drawn on a 12x18 drawing pad using non-photo blue penicls. I then inked this in using brush pen and uniball vision. Colors were applied in Photoshop 7 using just my trusty mouse. I hate doing backgrounds but am forcing myself to add more and more. Well that's about it. Till next time......
